Potemkin Senate
You've got to be kidding me!
"Revising and extending" one's remarks for insertion into the Congressional Record is a long-standing Senate custom. Completely and totally making stuff -- to create non-existent supporting "evidence" for a Supreme Court motion -- is, I believe something new and rather different.
Have these guys gone totally off the rails?
